Sam do not lay the blame for absentee ballots not being mailed out on me!!! #1 you were the one at the meeting and i'm assuming in my absence you took the minutes...correct? #2 you did not send me anything from that meeting nor have you bothered to call #3 you volunteered to put the banquet together so that was your responsibility when you mailed out invites and flyers the absentee ballot should have been with that ...by MAORA standards yes I was supposed to do this but since you CAN DO IT ALL you have not bothered to call and ask if there was anything you forgot to do or needed to do to be better prepared for the banquet or to ask for my help. BULL on you blaming ur mistake on me!! If you would be more worried about your job title than mine maybe crap would've been done the way it was supposed to be done!

I just spoke to the Holiday Inn in Plainfield. Because of the Holiday they are going to extend the due date to Wednesday January 4th. They did tell me that outside of our block of rooms the hotel is filling up quick on January 21st. Also please RSVP to me by January 4th. I need to let the caterer know how many people to count on. If you have any questions please let me know.

RSVP to Banquet
If you did not recieve a flyer about the Banquet is because I did not have your address. Also if you have not RSVP to the Banquet please do. We need to know how many will be coming so we can order enough food. Also the Holiday Inn has a block of rooms set aside for MAORA. As of December 22nd the rooms that have not been reserved will be open to the public and you will not get the discounted price. The weekend of the Banquet there are other things that are going on and the hotels are filling up quick.

When we were calling around to let people know that the banquet
was canceled there were a lot more people stating that they were
coming than that RSVP. Please let me know if you are coming
because I need to order enough food and I don't want anyone to go
hungry. Payments can be made at the banquet but I need a head
count by February 1st.
Salad:
Tossed Green Salad w/ Ranch & Italian Dressings
Vegetables:
Mashed Potatoes w/Gravy
Buttered Corn
Entrees:
Honey Baked Ham
Fried Chicken
French Bread and Whipped Butter
Chef's Assorted Desserts:
Fresh Baked Pies, Layer Cakes, and Cheesecake

Holiday Inn is only offering the discount price till February 1st. When you call let them know that you are with MAORA and you will get the room at a discount rate of $85. There is a block of rooms

Please come to the meeting before the dinner there are a few things that need to be voted on and we would like everyone’s vote on the items. Here are the items that are being voted on:
1. Change in payback. Pay back will only be paid to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd.
2. Change payback from 100% to 80%
3. Vote to send newsletters out 3-4 times a year.
4. Dues increased from $65 to $85
5. Raise Entry Fee
6. New Officer Nomination:
a. Secretary: Becky Kirby
b. Vice President: Jerry Weaver
c. Board of Directors: Dean Carlen
d. Tech Director: Pat Welch
If you would like to run or know of someone that would be great for one of these offices please come to the meeting and let us know.
