no this is a ford 8" it was in a 72 maveric with the 302 boss it has the removeable hog head like the 9" it is narrow like the 7.5"

lol, I'm looking for the necessities to be competitive Rocky. Randy, I will be getting in contact with you soon.
Ranger, are you talking about a ford 8.8? like is in the mustang gt's? I kind of like the idea of putting more weight in the rear by going with a 9' but if it comes down to it I may take you up on it.
Thanks for all the replies guys!!

A few other things I am looking for:

-2.5 crank and proper main bearings
-holly 500cfm carb. nevermind the 350cfm listed below....
-ford 8.8 or 9' rear (any condition, but not broke in half)
-used but working tachs & gauges
-all lights (head and brake)
-window nets
-just about everything haha!! lemme know what you got to get rid of guys!!

Now that the banquest is over, I have decided to go wit ha class 7 truck. I figured I would see if anyone out there had some extra parts they would like to sell. here is what I'm looking for:
- ford 9" rear end
- f-150 front springs,buckets and rear leaf springs
- or an old junk f-150 for cheap
- external oil cooler and lines
- 2.3 header
- used 12-16 gal fuel cell(with foam) ???
- holley fuel pump
- holley 7748 carb or larger
- msd 6a ignition
- set of 8 shocks(let me know what you have)
