Thats all it is. Discuse them and get them wrote up so we can just vote on them instead of wasting everybodys time. If you can't make it talk to class rep and tell them what your ideas are. Hell I don't even no who that is. Who is it?

The agenda for this meeting will be to set and finalize the truck rules for 2010. This will save lots of time at the fall meeting and the banquet. If you cannot attend and have a rule change request you can either contact your class rep or email them to me at rooster@maoraracing.us and I will make sure they are read. If you have other concerns with the truck rules and cant make it please send them as well. Please let fellow truck racers know about this meeting esp if they don't have the Internet. I called all the racers that I had numbers for. Hope to see as many of you there as possible..... need more info call me 217-962-1318 rooster

what do you mean by finalize ??? If only 3 people show up do those 3 set the rules for next year ? last year a paper was sent out asking for votes on rule changes, is this not going to happen ?

1. 2300 max with 50 over bore on motors with no more than a 420 lift cam with a limit on duriation
2. leave suspension rules alone
3. quick steers allowed
6. skins allowed original material ( no aluminum) bedside
besides this leave everything else alone thats my vote thought this was a good class everyone ran good together

all of this i thought was in the rules now
8. not allowed to change pivot points of suspension.
9. no porting or polishing of heads.
10. no changes allowed to front trailing arms
11. 7.5 only this is what came in stock trucks with 373 max gears
13. no flipping of spring shackles on the rear

yes we need to have a meeting to get the rules done and over with for the meeting

1.stock stock stock motor.
2. pump gas and no thats not a grey area cause one track has race gas come out of a pump..
3. one shock on each wheel in original factory mounts.
4. allow 1 nitrogen shock per wheel.
5. no coil over shocks or coil over carriers.
6. allow original material ( no aluminum) bedside for ease of cleaning.
7. minimum weight of _______?.
8. not allowed to change pivot points of suspension.
9. no porting or polishing of heads.
10. no changes allowed to front trailing arms
11. 7.5 or 8.8 rear end allowed with _______ max gearing
12. stock rear springs in factory original mounts
13. no flipping of spring shackles on the rear
ill add more as i think of them or feel free to copy and paste then add your own

doing away with strokes wouldnt bother me but i dont want to give up my 2 barrel carb and i think we need to put in the cam rule that was suppost to be in the book that was voted in suspension yes leave alone skins not a bad idea either but they have to be steel even tho i love the allum. it is so easy to fix

the only problem i see is it makes every 7e truck and i mean every truck that ran this season and will make them have to jump up class but makes no diff to me i will race anything i can but need to enforce rules we got before we go changing them a very smart man said once that all truck guys need to get in a room and lock the door and dont come out till all the issues are resolved lets just get some rules and not change them every chance we get that sounds good to me

Truck Rules Meeting

Post by Rooster Racing on Tue Oct 13, 2009 9:12 pm

We need to have a truck only meeting to decide on rules for 2010. When and where? Need some ideas when you all are free. Need to do this b4 fall meeting. Something to ponder. Eliminate class 7x. Put 7e back to stock truck instead of mini 700s. Leave 700 alone.
