Re: norrs scam
Thanks Rooster I new you woudn't let me down . You are right they step on us, But that is not the racers fault , that is the Promoter . If we could just show them that Maora is for the racers by the racers like assoc. should be , They would join in a heart beat . but I don't know how ? And I agree about the team assoated , traxxas thing . that hurts all racing.

Re: norrs scam
I emailed this guy 2 weeks before the Fall Classic to ask why they stepped on our date. He informed me that he contacted MAORA for the schedule but he could not give me a name or the email address that he contacted. If you have been in MAORA the last 10 years you already know that every year we either wait to make a schedule after CORR, or WSORR, or TORC, or whatever they will be called next year made theirs so as not to double up. Even then they change a date or 2 and almost always was on our Casey dates. We even made ours early and guess what? Yep they put them right on top of ours. I cant say it intentional to keep the racers under their thumb or coincidence but sure seems funny. Some day those guys up there that don't run a pro 4 or pro 2 truck will get tired of paying big bucks to whomever owns the series at that time and will look for someplace to race that caters to the racer. I have seen a couple races on TV and have to say their coverage sucks. Worst I have ever seen. That series is all about 1 person and 1 person only.... Its so bad they was going to make a pro 4 truck remove his sponsors stickers to race crandon. How does that help the off road racing cause? Needless to say he didn't even show up and I applaud him 4 that.
To expand we need all tracks that we race on to be as big or bigger than Casey. And need track owners willing to do track prep instead of just hold hand out for gate. I better stop there b4 I make myself mad.
There ya go Rusty see if that helps your thread. LOL

ATTENTION DIRECTORS:
This would be a prime opportunity to reach out to those who raced and volunteered to put this race on. This race was held same weekend as fall classic. (For those who don’t know). We have a great thing going thank you to all who volunteer their time and money. Just think what 100 more entries would do for not only pay back, but club support, and volunteers. Maybe next year Maora could promote this race. Wow I feel bad for these people I know personally what it is like to work on something like this and have it explode in your face, because of reasons out of your control. They need help; we need more racers, sounds like a good match to me.
